I'm the type of person that finds it difficult to trust any
car care center. I have had bad expereiences and tend to feel alot of
anxiety over any service or repair. I don't think I'm alone for feeling
this way. For about five years I used to take my car to (name deleted)
in Denver. I trusted them. Then in December of 08 I needed work done to
my car. They ran up the ticket big-time! And when I finally had enough,
they acted like I no longer mattered and they practically told me to
get my car off their property! So I tried Independence Car Care Center
after finding them on this (web) site. Dave And Vega were very
courteous and professional and they did a great job of explaining and
showing me the repairs needed. They explained the pricing and they told
me what was really needed and what should be done but could wait. They
completed the repairs in a day, new brake pads and rotors and a 120,000
mile scheduled tune-up. The price was less that I expected and they
showed me the parts that were replaced and the brands of part used for
replacement. They also discovered that (name deleted) used non-OEM
conforming parts that last time they serviced my car. The next day,
Dave realized that I was charged for a gasket which was not needed. He
called to let me know the he was refunding me 20 dollars or so that I
was over charged. Most shops would have said hey, what does he know,
right? My car is running better than it has in years! It's nice to know
that there are car centers available that don't rip-off customers even
in bad economic times. I enthusiastically recommend Independence Car
Care Center. BH.

We have two relatively older cars, and as we have two college
tuitions bill to pay, we want to keep them running as long as we can.
Independence Car Care Center has done maintenance and repairs on both
of our cars, and we feel that the service was very honest and of good
value. We trust the owner to tell us honestly what is wrong with the
cars, and what should be done. We appreciate having a repair service
that we can trust to be honest and to provide good service. Although
the shop is a ways from our home, we will continue to use and recommend
Independence.

Independence Car Care Center is like the 'good old days'....personal,
dependable service with a smile...and a cup of coffee. Our experience
with Independence has been exceptional. It's hard to find honest, high
quality service companies in this day and age, but Independence Car
Care Center is at the top. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and
well trained. They demonstrated this by carefully diagnosing my
vehicles issues with professionalism and honesty. The work was
exceptional. I was not charged for anything that was not a part of the
initial diagnosis. Their team demonstrated a high level of expertise.

I've taken my 96 Jimmy to Independence twice for repairs that
could have been real expensive. In both cases, they were able to
diagnose and repair issues without a big bill. I gave up going to
dealers a long time ago when I discovered that they were charging me
for things they didn't even do. One thing that impresses me about
Independence Car Care Center is how clean they keep their shop. I
recommend them for honest, reliable service.

The Band Aid Car
There's an auto repair shop a few miles from our home. I think
I should acknowledge them in a simple way by writing an at-a-boy short
story. There are good people in this world that don't try to rip
everyone off that comes through the door. This is a story about a car
repair shop, the manager and the men who work there.
We've been through rough financial times. We're not alone almost
everyone is suffering some kind of hardship in these trying times. Our
story unfortunately is all too common among the senior citizens of this
great nation. The problem all too many has is trying to figure out how
to live on Social Security. The struggle to survive daily is never
ending choices. Daily decisions are made on priority lists etched into
our very existence. One of the problems many of us face is
transportation. We have an old car with 200,000 miles on it and we
can't afford to replace it; repair bills are getting more frequent. We
had a copule of major repairs; but most of them have been inexpensive
patch jobs. They have named our car the band-aid car. The men who work
there have been wonderful to us and I have very hard regard for their
very high moral standards. They treat us with high respect, while
maintaining a friendly domineer. I would like to believe that they are
treating us special; but in my heart I think that they're just
bascially good people and treat everyone in our position the same.

It is a clean and very well managed facility. Explained my
problem in detail and the required fix. The tech also told me his
dianostic techniques more than just reading a code and doing a fix that
may only be a symptom of another problem. And he did something most
repair facilities don't do any longer, he showed me the part he removed
and offered me the part.

My car is older and has lots of developing problems, most of
which I knew about before discovering this repair shop. different
employees have taken lots of time explaining those, as well as new,
more urgent issues, to me. I was at no time pressured to have the
expensive, but not urgent, repairs performed.

I guess they saved me about $700.00 from other shop bids in
the past year. They vacuum my car and wash all windows. They take the
time to look for the problem (alot of times w/o charging me). Then call
me and explain what needs to be done and at what price. Very
knowledgable people. When I drop off my car they give me a ride home.

Service 2008 for major repairs part failed 2009, work done to
replace failed part at no cost. Owner personal guarantee on repair
ticket. Other minor work done on 2nd vehicle very reliable.

They have a very clean and modern shop. All of their work has
been excellent. I have never felt they have given mis-information or
suggested repairs that were not needed. They have been great!

I have always taken excellent care of my vehicles
(maintenance, scheduled services, etc), no expense spared and NOW I'll
stick with Independence Car Care Center. Feb 17, 2009-"Premium Service"
Oil change, filter, tec after reading insert in "Arvada Press". Feb 24,
2009-4 wheel tire rotation (Getting to like ICCC and people better with
each visit). Feb 27, 2009-My vehicle failed emission test (1st time in
my life), Drove straight to ICCC they diagnosed ($15.00 coolant fan
sensor), fixed and went back and PASSED test the same day. June 30,
2009- full service, tune-up, AC servicing (AC wasn't cooling fast
enough anymore, now it does!).

I have an older, high mileage work truck. I was very worried
about the cost for repairs when it was running very poorly.
Independence Car Care Center was very helpful and explained the needed
repairs very well and cost less that expected. Everyone I dealt with
was very polite, knowledgable and trustworthy. I keep taking my truck
and when my Jeep needs work to Independence Car Care Center. Very
surprised when I picked up my truck and they cleaned the interior.
